A mortgage broker works on behalf of their client using their panel of lenders to find an appropriate loan type for each individual client. The mortgage broker then presents the most appropriate loan options to the client for them to choose between.
Mortgage brokers are paid a commission by the bank after settlement. You as an individual will incur no costs from using a broker, unless the broker charges an upfront fee. By using a mortgage broker, there is no additional costs added to your loan. You can find out more on our services page.
On average, you can borrow up to 6 times your income. This may be affected by other factors that may reduce or increase your borrowing capacity. To find out more about your individual borrowing capacity, please contact us on 0448 211 020 or at david@streamlinemortgagebroking.com.
The required deposit varies based on the price of the house you are trying to buy. 10% is a standard minimum deposit, and any deposit below 20% will incur LMI. If you have a deposit of 20% or above, you can avoid LMI and reduce your interest rates. If you'd like to discuss this further, please contact us on 0448 211 020 or at david@streamlinemortgagebroking.com
The length of the process varies depending on circumstances of the individual's needs. If you'd like to know more about your individual circumstances, please contact us on 0448 211 020 or at david@streamlinemortgagebroking.com.
